SHIREL BRONIZER

Shirel Bronizer has been immersed in dance since the age of two, training in styles such as jazz, ballet, pointe, acro, contemporary, modern, hip hop, Latin/ballroom, and more. With over 7 years of choreography and teaching experience, Shirel has worked with competitive dancers ages 5 to 17, earning choreography awards and recognition for her ability to bring out both technical excellence and compelling artistry in her dancers. Her passion lies in helping performers bridge the gap between movement quality, stage presence, and physical sustainability.

Shirel was crowned Miss Dance Canada 2016 and later represented Team Canada at the IDO Commonwealth Cup Dance Championships in South Africa, winning Gold and Bronze medals under the direction of Tiffany McLachlan. She also received special recognition from international judges and choreographers for her outstanding performance quality and technical strength.

Shirel’s professional career has also led her to work with industry leaders such as Shawn Desman at MOVE and received recognition from esteemed choreographers like Jesse Robb, Kim Falconi, Linda Garneau, and more. She’s had the privilege of training under Susan Spring, and is grateful for the opportunities to collaborate with many renowned choreographers; Julie Gabriele of BeDance, Brooke Gilmour, Kevin Howe, Charline Dinger, and many others, further influencing her creative and educational approach.

Her love for dance and sports medicine, her passion and expertise has shaped her mission to promote injury prevention, longevity, and body awareness in dancers, which led to the creation of The ReFlex Method.

As the Founder of The ReFlex Method, Shirel is passionate about teaching workshops and intensives focused on body placement, breathwork, movement quality, and sustainable technique. Her goal is to help dancers unlock their highest potential while building strong, injury-free careers — proving that great artistry and healthy movement can coexist.

Currently, Shirel works as a Dance Instructor, Choreographer, Athletic Therapist, Fascial Stretch Therapist, and Dance Injury Specialist, combining her deep understanding of performance and physical health to elevate dancers both on and off the stage.
